It has been revealed that Aysel Yıldırım, who had been missing since March 19 in Malatya, was murdered. In the investigation, it was claimed that before her disappearance, the young woman was summoned by suspect Aykut Aslan with the words, 'Come, there's a treasure, I will bury you in stones.' Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that four people, including suspect Aslan, have been detained in connection with the incident.

4 SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Minister Gürlek noted that comprehensive efforts were carried out by the Provincial Police Department and Provincial Gendarmerie Command within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Malatya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Gürlek stated that significant evidence was obtained to clarify the incident through field studies, digital data analysis, camera recordings, and evaluation of witness statements, and announced that 4 suspects were taken into custody based on the findings.

SEARCH OPERATIONS CONTINUE

Within the scope of the investigation, search activities have been initiated in riverbeds and areas where the missing woman is believed to have been buried, in order to locate her body. Authorities reported that the investigation is being conducted comprehensively and with great sensitivity.
