A person living in an abandoned building in Çekmeköy came to the front of a car repair shop and opened fire without saying anything, claiming that they were making noise. It was learned that the suspect had frequently argued with the business owners about the same issue. The attacker, who has seven criminal records, was arrested.
On November 16, an incident occurred in the Ekşioğlu neighborhood of Çekmeköy, Istanbul, prompting the police to take action following a report of a car repair shop being shot at. Upon investigation, it was determined that there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident, but a bullet had struck one of the vehicles at the workplace.
SHOTS FIRED AT THE BUSINESS
The business owner stated that a person living in a nearby abandoned building frequently argued with them, claiming that they were making noise. He mentioned that on the day of the incident, this individual came to the front of the business once again and started shooting without saying anything.
EXTENSIVE CRIMINAL RECORD
Teams from the Robbery Bureau identified the suspect during their investigation. Following the efforts, U.E., who fled the scene after the incident, was apprehended. It was determined that the suspect U.E. had a prior criminal record of 7 offenses. After completing the police procedures, the suspect U.E. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested and sent to prison.
