In Adana, a 70-year-old citizen who collapsed during prayer in a mosque due to a heart attack was brought back to life by the imam's CPR. The imam, who had received first aid training, was captured on security camera performing the intervention.

At Hz. Musa Mosque in Barbaros Neighborhood, Hüseyin Özgün (70) collapsed before the noon prayer.
IMAM IMMEDIATELY INTERVENED
The mosque's imam, Hasan Demir (34), rushed to Özgün's side and realized he was having a heart attack. Demir performed CPR, which he had learned in a previous first aid training.
After the intervention, Özgün regained consciousness and began breathing again. With the help of congregants, he was helped to his feet and later taken to the hospital by his relatives.
"WE HELPED SAVE A LIFE"
Imam Hasan Demir stated that he learned CPR in a first aid course organized by the Seyhan District Mufti's Office, saying, "By applying it, we helped save a life."
Özgün's collapse while taking his place in prayer rows and his revival through the imam's intervention were recorded by the mosque's security cameras.
