A 22-year-old student who jumped from the 6th floor of the KYK dormitory in Gümüşhane has lost his life.

A terrifying incident occurred at the KYK girls' dormitory located on Atatürk Street in the Köse district of Gümüşhane during the night hours.

JUMPED FROM THE SIXTH FLOOR

Eda Özge Akın (22), a first-year student in the Transportation Services Department at Gümüşhane University Köse Vocational School, climbed out of the window on the 6th floor of the dormitory where she was staying. Dormitory staff, noticing the situation, tried to persuade the young woman. However, their attempts to convince her were unsuccessful, and the young woman jumped from the window.

ALLEGATION OF "DEPRESSION"

Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The health teams determined during their initial checks that Eda Özge Akın had lost her life. Akın's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Köse State Hospital. Additionally, it was claimed that the student had been in a state of depression for some time.
