Trump: If Democrats win the House, the Senate, and the presidency, our country could be destroyed

US President Trump claimed that if the Democrats win the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the presidency in 2028, the country could be completely destroyed. Trump said that if the majority in Congress goes to the Democrats, he would block the legislative process with his veto power and become 'Mr. Veto'.

US President Donald Trump said, "If Democrats win the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the presidency in 2028, our country could be completely destroyed."

Trump made assessments about tomorrow's midterm elections on the podcast program Pod Force One, prepared by The New York Post writer Miranda Devine. Arguing that if the Democratic Party wins the elections with its policies of men participating in women's sports, fully open borders, high taxes, and its economic promises, the country would be dragged into irreparable destruction, Trump said, "With all these policies, the only way you can be elected is by cheating. If Democrats win the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the presidency in 2028, our country could be completely destroyed."

"THE DEMOCRATS' ONLY WAY TO WIN IS TO CHEAT"

Emphasizing that he believes election polls do not reflect the truth and that the polls are rigged, Trump said he believes many polling companies take large checks and do not even send personnel into the field.

Drawing attention to the enthusiasm at rally sites, President Trump assessed, "They may not be polling Republicans, but I think we are going to get a very good result. I say this based on the rallies; the crowds and interest on the ground are bigger than ever."

Trump claimed that if Democrats come to power, they will increase the number of Supreme Court members to 23, repeal the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution regulating the right to bear arms, and make Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. states, making it impossible for Republicans to be elected president.

"IF CONGRESS IS LOST, I WILL BE 'MR. VETO'"

Indicating that he will not give up if the majority in Congress passes to the Democrats, and that he will use his presidential powers to the fullest and block the legislative process, Trump said, "I believe we will win, but if we don't win, I will veto everything. I will constantly use my veto power. I will probably become 'Mr. Veto.' Then at some point we will start making deals."

Trump stated that he is living the last period of his political career and sometimes feels nostalgic, and said that if there were no two-term limit in the US Constitution, he would want to run again.

The US President said, "If I had the opportunity, I would very much like to run again, but the text of the Constitution is extremely clear. In a poll published the other day, I was beating everyone by a wide margin. I would really like to run, but it's okay."

Commenting that names such as Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are strong options for who would replace him after he leaves office, Trump noted that someone who will govern the country wonderfully should come after him.

"IF NECESSARY, I WILL ISSUE A SPECIAL PARDON TO EVERYONE"

Evaluating the claims that Democrats will target him, his family, his cabinet, and supporters such as Elon Musk with investigations after the election, Trump conveyed that he would not hesitate to use pardon power to protect his team, as was the case during former President Joe Biden's term.

Referring to recent developments in the economy, Trump noted that Gross Domestic Product growth continues, consumer confidence is rising, and he will fulfill his promise to lower gasoline prices below 2 dollars.
