A 41-year-old man, who allegedly lost his balance and fell while talking on the phone on the cliffs where Düden Waterfall flows into the sea in Antalya, died after being rescued from the rocks by teams.

SUDDENLY LOST HIS BALANCE
The incident occurred around 3:00 PM on the cliffs where the Düden Waterfall pours into the sea at Barınaklar Boulevard, Çağlayan Neighborhood, Muratpaşa district. According to claims, Mehmet Şan, who was talking on the phone at the cliff point, lost his balance and fell several meters.
TEAMS WERE DEPLOYED
Following the report, marine police, fire department, AFAD, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. When the marine police could not retrieve Şan, who was stuck among the rocks, fire and AFAD teams descended with ropes. Diver police handed over Şan, found motionless in the water, to the AFAD and fire teams.
LOST HIS LIFE
The firefighters and AFAD team then pulled Şan, who was tied to a rope, up. Medical personnel determined that Şan had lost his life. After an examination by crime scene investigation, Homicide Bureau, and Muratpaşa Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau teams, Şan's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for an autopsy.
