Upon receiving a report that a person had fallen from 35-meter cliffs in Antalya, the Coast Guard and police teams were dispatched and discovered the lifeless body of a young girl. The identity of the girl could not be determined initially, but through facial recognition system inquiries, it was established that her name was Fatma Dilek Yılmaz, aged 18.
Citizens using a jetski in the sea in Antalya reported that a person fell from approximately 35-meter-high cliffs, prompting the Coast Guard and police teams to take action, and they found the lifeless body of a young girl.
Citizens on a jetski in the water near the point where Düden Waterfall flows into the sea, located in the Çağlayan neighborhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district, saw a person fall into the sea from the top of the approximately 35-meter-high cliffs.
FELL FROM 35-METER CLIFFS
After citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, teams from the Coast Guard Command and the Antalya Police Department's Maritime Port Branch were dispatched to the scene.
LIFLESS BODY FOUND
Upon arriving at the specified location, the marine police and Coast Guard teams reached a lifeless body determined to belong to a woman after a brief search in the water. During the checks conducted by the 112 Emergency Health teams waiting on-site, it was determined that the young girl had lost her life.
The marine police retrieved the young girl’s lifeless body from the water and brought it to Antalya Yacht Harbor. The young girl, whose identity could not be determined, was identified as Fatma Dilek Yılmaz (18) through a facial recognition system (FRS). After the work of the Crime Scene Investigation team, Yılmaz's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
