The incident occurred on June 11 in the Yenimahalle neighborhood of İdil, Şırnak. According to reports, S.T. (12) lost her balance and fell from the second floor onto the sidewalk while attending to pigeons on her balcony. Citizens who saw the girl fall immediately rushed to help, and health teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

S.T., who received first aid at the scene, was taken to İdil State Hospital by ambulance. After treatment there, she was transferred to Şırnak Maternity and Children's Hospital, where it was stated that she had overcome the life-threatening danger and her treatment was ongoing.

Father Muhammed T., who said he was at work during the incident, stated that neighbors called him to inform him of his daughter's fall. Father Muhammed T. said, 'Neighbors called me and said my daughter had fallen. I came home immediately. Doctors said her condition was serious and she needed treatment. She may have fallen while trying to give food or water to the birds on the balcony. Her treatment is currently ongoing in Şırnak. It has been said that she may be transferred to Diyarbakır depending on her condition, and surgery may be necessary.'
