A 35-year-old man, O.K.K., who followed a young woman walking on the street and sexually assaulted her, was caught based on the tattoos on his face. The moments when the suspect followed the woman were captured on camera, and he has 17 criminal records, 8 of which are for sexual offenses.
Yesterday at around 12:00 PM, in 3150th Street of Yenimahalle Neighborhood, Atakum district of Samsun, O.K.K. (35), who has 17 criminal records including 8 for sexual offenses, followed a 28-year-old woman walking on the street.
HE FOLLOWED AND HARASSED THE WOMAN
After a while, O.K.K. approached S.D. and allegedly committed sexual assault by hand, then pretended to talk on the phone and fled. The moments when O.K.K. followed S.D. were captured by a security camera of a workplace.
IDENTIFIED BY THE TATTOOS ON HIS FACE
S.D. reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The Atakum Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau initiated a camera study to identify the suspect. The teams identified the suspect based on the information provided by S.D. O.K.K., who is said to be in the textile business, was caught next to his car on Atakent Boulevard after 6 hours of camera work. The investigation is ongoing.
