The incident occurred around 06:00 in the Yenikent neighborhood of Sincan district. A woman named Ş.Ö. was waiting for a coworker in her car when a person named M.Ç. forcibly got into the vehicle.
THREATENED WITH A KNIFE AND TAKEN TO ANKAPARK
According to the claim, M.Ç. threatened Ş.Ö. by stating he had a knife. The suspect demanded that the woman take him to the parking lot of Ankapark in the Yenimahalle district. Experiencing fear and panic, Ş.Ö. complied with the suspect's request.
TOOK HER MONEY AND NECKLACE AND FLED
While getting out of the car, the suspect took some money and the necklace from the woman. He then exited and fled the area.
Upon Ş.Ö.'s complaint, police teams launched an investigation. After examining security camera footage, authorities identified the suspect's identity and route.

As a result of police work, M.Ç. was quickly captured and taken into custody. It was learned that the suspect had 5 previous records for crimes including threats, stalking, and disturbing public peace.
The Ankara Western Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated legal proceedings against M.Ç. for robbery and deprivation of liberty. It was stated that the suspect would be sent to court tomorrow.
