The incident occurred around 03:00 at an apartment on the second floor of a building in Bengisu Neighborhood, Ödemiş district. According to claims, İ.B. invited his friend Oğuzhan Gencer (31) to his home. After a while, an argument broke out between İ.B. and Gencer for an undetermined reason.

The argument quickly turned into a fight. İ.B. wounded Oğuzhan Gencer with a knife. Upon reports from those nearby, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
RELEASED FROM PRISON ON PROBATION
Gencer was taken by ambulance to Ödemiş State Hospital. Oğuzhan Gencer, who was receiving treatment there, could not be saved. İ.B. was taken into custody regarding the incident. It was learned that İ.B. had been released from prison approximately 10 days ago under probation. The suspect's procedures at the police station continue.
