A 16-year-old named Alp S., who fell ill during a Halloween event in the Bornova district of İzmir, was taken to the hospital and passed away. The young man's funeral was held in Karşıyaka. The owner of the market related to the incident was taken into custody.
LAST RITES FOR THE YOUNG MAN WHO DIED AT THE HALLOWEEN EVENT
The funeral of the 16-year-old who passed away at the hospital after falling ill during the "Halloween" event in the Bornova district of İzmir was held.
The body of Alp S. (16), which was received by his relatives from the Forensic Medicine Institution morgue, was brought to the Hacı Mustafa Beşikçioğlu Mosque in Karşıyaka district. The young man's mother, father, and relatives shed tears at the head of the coffin. Alp S.'s body was buried in Doğançay Cemetery after the prayer performed in the afternoon.
MARKET OWNER ARRESTED
The market owner G.Y., who was taken into custody regarding the incident, was released with judicial control conditions after his procedures at the police station and being brought to the courthouse.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Alp S., who attended the event held on the evening of November 1 at an entertainment venue in Kazımdirik Neighborhood, collapsed after a while and lost his life at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital.
Police teams determined that Alp S. and his friends had purchased alcohol and energy drinks from the market before attending the event, and it was found that Alp S. fell ill at the entertainment venue they went to after consuming the drinks. The market owner G.Y. was taken into custody regarding the incident.
