HIT BY A CAR, HE TOOK A MINIBUS AND WENT HOME
Reacting to the driver's indifference, Yaşar Akdoğan said, "It's actually not a place where an accident is likely. Nearby citizens came. A shopkeeper there gave initial aid with a band-aid. I took a minibus and came home. When I couldn't bear the pain, I went to the hospital. They said there was a fracture. I can't put weight on my foot. My feet can no longer carry this body."
Stating that what upset him was that the driver did not even stop to say 'get well soon' after the accident, Akdoğan said, "Until the age of 83, I had never been in a traffic accident. What upset me was the indifference of the person who caused the accident. I forgot my own wound. One would at least say 'Get well soon, are you okay?' He could have run me over and crushed me. He never stopped. We went to the police station and filed a complaint."
It was learned that police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
