Sabri Sarı, who stated that he came to the Ortaklar neighborhood of Aydın from Siirt in 1990, said that he is currently working in the tourism sector. Sarı, who works as a gardener in a hotel in İzmir, mentioned that he decided to grow a mustache all of a sudden.

Sabri Sarı, a father of 10 and grandfather of 20, has not cut his mustache for 5 years. Expressing that he enjoys having a mustache, Sarı said, "I love growing my mustache. It's not hard to maintain; I comb it every day. I won't cut my mustache for another five years. I recommend everyone to grow a mustache."

Sarı, who is referred to as "Pala" by the public, stated that tourists who see his mustache immediately grab his arm and ask to take a photo with him. He mentioned that he does not speak English but is quite pleased with the interest of foreign tourists visiting the hotel where he works.
