The letter written by Engin Yüce, who killed his 23-year-old girlfriend with 10 stab wounds and then committed suicide in Adana, has been found. A letter written by a man who committed suicide after brutally killing his girlfriend in Adana has emerged. The suspect stated in his letter, "Do not see me as a murderous killer, I am never such a person."
KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND AND COMMITTED SUICIDE
The incident occurred on April 19 at around 8:00 PM in a site located in the Huzurevleri neighborhood of the Çukurova district. According to allegations, Engin Yüce (31), who is said to have psychological issues, had an argument with his girlfriend Şevval Çiftçi (23) for an unknown reason at home. During the argument, Yüce killed his girlfriend with 10 knife stabs using a knife he took from the kitchen, and then jumped from the 12th-floor apartment to end his life. A 6-page letter written by Engin Yüce has surfaced.
"DO NOT SEE ME AS A MURDEROUS KILLER"
In his letter, Engin Yüce stated, "I never thought I would record such a thing and die at this age. Life is very strange, especially for me, it has always been that way. Please do not see me as a murderous killer, I am never such a person, I have never been. Everyone who knows me closely and from afar knows that I am a good-hearted and friendly person. I am someone who has never harmed anyone, not even an ant, and I have never thrown trash on the ground, nor harmed the environment or animals," he said.
"POLICE BROTHERS, INVESTIGATE THIS INCIDENT"
Yüce said, "Please, my police brothers, from all security units, the only thing I ask for the sake of Allah is for these incidents to be investigated and for all the individuals I will name to be caught. Because I was already barely living before these events. They have made my life unlivable." He wrote the names of those he claimed conspired against him. In his letter, Engin Yüce expressed, "I am not a killer; I don't even have a criminal record. They have played with everything I have. I tried to forget, but it didn't work. They have even played with my honor."
