A person in Antalya killed his girlfriend by hitting her head with a stone in a wooded area and also killed her 8-year-old son by suffocating him at home, witnessed by the girlfriend. The killer suspect was captured by the gendarmerie.

KILLING HIS GIRLFRIEND WITH A STONE AND TAKING THE CHILD WITH HIM

The horrifying incident took place around 17:30 in Doğuyaka Neighborhood, Muratpaşa district of Antalya. According to allegations, a person named Mehmet A. went to Duacı Neighborhood in Kepez district with his girlfriend Aynur Çilli and Aynur Çilli's son Bulutcan Çilli in the morning. There, for an unknown reason, Mehmet A. repeatedly hit his girlfriend Aynur Çilli on the head with a stone, killing her, and left the scene with the child.

Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report of a woman's body found in a wooded area. While the medical teams determined that the woman had died, the gendarmerie teams identified the body as belonging to Aynur Çallı.

8-YEAR-OLD CHILD FOUND DEAD IN FETAL POSITION

The gendarmerie determined that Aynur Çilli was living with Mehmet A. and came to her house in Doğuyaka Neighborhood for investigation. While the gendarmerie caught Mehmet A. at home, an examination conducted at the house revealed the lifeless body of Bulutcan Çilli on the floor, tied with a rope around his hands, feet, and neck in a fetal position. It was determined that Mehmet A. brought 8-year-old Bulutcan Çilli home after killing Aynur Çilli and killed the child by suffocating him because he witnessed the incident.

"SUFFOCATED HIM BY MAKING A PIG LEASH"

Meanwhile, Selahattin Doğan, a neighbor living in the neighborhood where the incident took place, described what happened as follows: "Mehmet A. moved to our neighborhood about a year and a half ago. When the gendarmerie teams arrived today, I also went in with them. I saw the little child lying on the floor tied with a pig leash. I was very surprised. I heard that he first killed the woman by hitting her head with a stone in the wooded area, then came here and suffocated the child. The man was caught by the gendarmerie in front of his house. Later, when the gendarmerie teams took me back to the house to take my statement as a witness, I saw the child lying on the floor in the same way again. He had a plastic cable tie around his throat and was killed by suffocation.

It was learned that the suspect, who killed the child by suffocating him and was preparing to take him out of the house in a sack, was caught by the gendarmerie before he could leave. The suspect was taken into custody and an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
