In Afyonkarahisar, H.H.B. (19) shot and killed his mother S.E. (41) with a shotgun. After the incident, H.H.B. (19), who fled the scene, and O.K., who is alleged to have assisted him, were apprehended. Teams from the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Police Department acted upon receiving a report around 11:30 PM yesterday that a woman had been shot and two individuals had fled on a motorcycle. Upon reaching the specified address, the teams found S.E. injured on the floor, shot in the chest with a shotgun, in the kitchen of the house they entered. They also seized one cartridge during the search.
FAILED TO BE SAVED AT THE HOSPITAL
S.E., who was taken to Afyonkarahisar State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors. H.H.B. and O.K., who fled on a motorcycle, were caught and detained around 1:00 AM near the scene of the incident. It was learned that H.H.B. stated in his testimony that his mother S.E., who divorced his father 10 years ago, was in a relationship with another man, and that this was the reason for the incident. It was reported that the procedures for H.H.B. and O.K. are ongoing.
