A person in the Yesilyurt district of Malatya killed his 21-year-old daughter with a pistol after an argument, and injured his wife and other daughter. The suspect, who also stabbed himself after the incident, was taken to the hospital under police escort.
Nejdet Timurkaan, who is claimed to have psychological problems, argued with his wife and two daughters at home for an unknown reason in the Salkımözü Neighborhood of Malatya's Yeşilyurt district.

After the argument quickly escalated, Nejdet Timurkaan took the gun at home and fired at his wife Feray and daughters Berra and Beyza. Injuring his wife and daughters, Nejdet Timurkaan then wounded himself with a knife.
1 DEAD, 2 INJURED WITH 1 SERIOUS
Following the incident, numerous health and police teams were dispatched to the region upon notification. The injured mother Feray, her daughters Berra and Beyza, and Nejdet Timurkaan were taken to various hospitals in the city by ambulances. Among the injured, Beyza Timurkaan lost her life, while the seriously injured mother Feray and her daughter Berra continue their treatment at the hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
