In the Çivril district of Denizli, Halil A. (24) killed Murat Bilgihan (51), whom he claimed had sent harassment messages to his mother's mobile phone, with an iron bar in a fight that broke out.

KILLED HIM BY BEATING WITH AN IRON BAR

The incident occurred around 02:00 in the Kıralan neighborhood. A dispute arose between Halil A. and Murat Bilgihan, whom he alleged had sent harassing text messages to his mother. The dispute turned into a fight. During the fight, Halil A. struck Bilgihan with an iron bar.

Bilgihan collapsed to the ground due to the blow to his head, and health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The health team determined that Bilgihan had lost his life during the check. Murat Bilgihan's lifeless body was taken to the Çivril State Hospital morgue for an autopsy. While the fleeing Halil A. was apprehended by the gendarmerie, an investigation into the incident was launched.
