45-year-old Caner Mengütaş, who was having a picnic with his friends in the Tomarza district of Kayseri, was found motionless in the Zamantı River. It was determined that Mengütaş, who was brought to the shore by firefighting teams, had lost his life.

HE LOST HIS LIFE WHILE TRYING TO COOL OFF
According to the information obtained, C.M. (45), who came for a picnic with friends at the Zamantı River in the Melikviran neighborhood of the district, entered the water to cool off.
After a while, when friends saw that C.M. could not get out of the water, they notified authorities, and health, fire, and law enforcement teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that C.M., pulled from the water by fire brigade teams, lost his life during the initial intervention at the scene.
C.M.’s body was taken to the morgue after the examination, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
