Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Ibrahim Zolfaghari targeted Trump with English words, saying, "The outcome of war is determined on the battlefield, not through tweets," and mocked the U.S. operation by using the phrase "Epic Fear" instead of "Epic Fury."
The spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ibrahim Zolfaghari, made striking statements regarding U.S. President Donald Trump. Speaking in English, Zolfaghari targeted Trump's remarks with sarcastic expressions.
OFFICIALLY MOCKED TRUMP
Zolfaghari emphasized that the outcome of war is determined on the ground, not through social media, stating, "The result of war is determined not by tweets, but on the battlefield." He directly criticized Trump, claiming that the U.S. only makes statements about regions it cannot approach militarily.
"THERE ARE PLACES YOU DARE NOT APPROACH"
The Iranian spokesperson said, "There are places that you and your forces dare not approach, and you can only speak by tweeting."
"EPIC FEAR" MESSAGE
Zolfaghari also mocked the name given to U.S. operations, "Epic Fury," saying, "It would be more accurate to call this war 'Epic Fear' instead of 'Epic Fury.'
DIPLOMATIC LANGUAGE IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY HARSH
The statements came amid increasing military tension and mutual harsh rhetoric between the U.S. and Iran in recent times. These statements made during a period of rising tensions between the parties once again highlighted that the diplomatic language is becoming increasingly harsh.
