Holders of personalized Istanbulkart can use all public transportation vehicles included in the Istanbulkart integration for free throughout Friday, May 1. Free transportation will cover Metro Istanbul, IETT, City Lines, and other transportation networks integrated into IMM's public transit.

Free transportation will cover Metro Istanbul, IETT, City Lines, and other transportation networks integrated with IMM's public transit.
FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE CITY
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will provide free public transportation throughout the city on May 1, Labor and Solidarity Day. In line with the free transportation decision applied on official holidays, holders of personalized Istanbulkart will be able to use all public transportation vehicles included in the Istanbulkart integration for free throughout Friday, May 1.
Free transportation will cover Metro Istanbul, IETT, City Lines, and other transportation networks integrated with IMM's public transit. The application will be valid across Istanbul as May 1, Labor and Solidarity Day, is an official holiday. During passage on public transportation vehicles, it will be sufficient to touch the turnstile with a personalized Istanbulkart. The system will automatically define the card for free passage.
MARMARAY WILL ALSO BE FREE
Marmaray-operated trains on the Halkalı-Bahçeşehir, Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line, and Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line will also provide free service on May 1, Labor and Solidarity Day.
