In Burdur, teams took action against H.E., who threatened a large attack if the woman he wanted to marry was not handed over by a specific date in a video he posted on social media. The individual, who said in the video, 'I don't listen to the gendarmerie or the police,' was taken into custody.
The suspect, who demanded via a video he shot in the Bucak district of Burdur that the woman he was to marry be handed over to him on social media, was captured and taken into custody by the gendarmerie after stating that otherwise a major attack would occur.
"IF YOU DON'T HAND HER OVER, THE ATTACK WILL BE BIG"
According to the information obtained, the individual H.E. (46) issued a threat via a video posted on social media, setting a date and demanding that the woman he wanted to marry be handed over to him, or else a major attack would occur. In the video, H.E. also used the following statements: "I am telling you, this is my final warning to you. I will not warn you again. I cannot stop my partners. I am waiting for news until May 22. If you do not hand over the woman I am to marry, the attack will be big. I am telling you. I will listen neither to the gendarmerie nor the police."
Following the detection of the post, teams affiliated with the Bucak District Gendarmerie Command quickly located and took the aforementioned individual into custody. After the completion of his statement, H.E. was referred to the Bucak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was reported that an investigation into whether the suspect is of sound mind is ongoing.
