A suspect who set his car on fire and fired shots into the air in front of his mother-in-law's house in Ankara has been taken into custody.

The incident occurred around 21:00 in Ekin Neighborhood of Mamak district. A person named H.Ş. went to the house of the mother of his wife S.Ş., with whom he is in the process of divorce. H.Ş., who called his wife and mother-in-law repeatedly in front of the house, got angry when his calls were not answered, poured gasoline on his own car, and set it on fire.

H.Ş., whose anger did not subside, then fired shots into the air with a pump-action rifle he had. Upon reports from bystanders who witnessed the incident, police teams, an ambulance, and fire crews arrived at the scene.
FINALLY TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The fire that broke out in the vehicle was extinguished as a result of the intervention of the fire crews. The suspect was caught along with the pump-action rifle used in the incident as a result of police work. It was learned that the suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
