In the Maden district of Elazığ, a father shot and killed the person who stabbed his son with a shotgun. The incident began the day before in a restaurant. After a dispute between the restaurant owner A.K. and Ertuğrul Koç, Koç stabbed A.K.'s son. Seeing his son being stabbed, A.K. fired at Koç with the shotgun that was in his vehicle. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. While the stabbed young man was taken to the hospital, Koç lost his life.
In the Maden district of Elazığ, a person shot and killed the man who stabbed his son with a shotgun. The incident occurred in the village of Gezin, which is part of the Maden district. According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out the day before between restaurant operator A.K. and Ertuğrul Koç (45) at the restaurant. Citizens intervened to prevent the argument, the cause of which is still unknown, from escalating and separated the parties. After closing the business, A.K. returned home with his son, but their vehicle was cut off and stopped by Ertuğrul Koç. Koç stabbed A.K.'s son as he got out of the vehicle.
SUSPECT DETAINED BY GENDARMERIE
Seeing that his son had been stabbed, A.K. took out the shotgun from the vehicle and fired at Koç. Upon hearing the gunshots, citizens alerted the authorities, and health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The stabbed individual was taken to the hospital for treatment, while it was determined that Ertuğrul Koç had lost his life. After the investigations conducted at the scene, Koç's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Fırat University Hospital for an autopsy.
Suspect A.K. was detained by the gendarmerie teams.
