A domestic dispute that occurred during the midday hours in the Buldan district of Denizli ended in bloodshed. An elderly man, who is claimed to be of unsound mind, spread terror by injuring his son and daughter-in-law with a shotgun.
HE SHOT HIS SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW WITH A SHOTGUN
The incident took place in the Karaköy neighborhood of the Buldan district. According to the information obtained, an elderly man named S. U. started an argument with his son İ. U. and his daughter-in-law S. U. for an unknown reason. As the argument quickly escalated, S. U., unable to control his temper, took the shotgun in the house and targeted his son and daughter-in-law. The pellets fired from the elderly man's gun hit the unfortunate couple.
GUNSHOTS BROUGHT THE NEIGHBORS OUT INTO THE STREET
Hearing the gunshots that broke the silence, the residents of the neighborhood immediately reported the situation to the gendarmerie and medical teams. The 112 Emergency Service teams, who arrived at the address in a short time, provided first aid to the couple, who were covered in blood, at the scene. The injured were then taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated.
Teams from the Buldan District Gendarmerie Command, who took security measures at the scene, detained the suspect S. U. While the claims that the elderly man was of unsound mind have also been taken into consideration, a comprehensive investigation has been launched into the incident.
