In Manisa, a woman named Belgin B. was shot by her estranged husband while she was on her way to the courthouse to obtain a restraining order with her 3-month-old baby.

The incident occurred on the evening of November 14 in the Şehzadeler district, where 23-year-old Belgin B. was with her 3-month-old child in a stroller.

HE FLED ON A MOTORCYCLE AFTER SHOOTING

The woman, who was going to the courthouse to obtain a restraining order against her estranged husband, noticed that she was being followed by someone on a motorcycle. The person following her was her husband Furkan B., from whom she had filed for divorce in March. As the motorcycle passed by, Furkan B. fired at his wife Belgin B. Belgin B., who was shot in the thigh, fell to the ground in pain while the murderous husband Furkan B. fled on the motorcycle.

The moments when Belgin B. waited on the ground for medical teams and when Furkan B. fled with a gun in his hand were recorded by a nearby person using a mobile phone camera. After the initial intervention of the medical team at the scene, Belgin B. was taken to Manisa City Hospital for treatment.

THE MURDEROUS HUSBAND WAS ARRESTED

It was learned that Belgin B. and her 3-month-old daughter's health conditions were good. The police captured Furkan B., who fled after the incident. After his detention, Furkan B. was arrested at the courthouse where he was brought following police procedures.
