A young man who climbed out of a window at a student dormitory in the Menteşe district of Muğla and did not respond to persuasion attempts fell into the void, sustaining serious injuries despite the airbag deploying, and unfortunately died at the hospital where he was taken.
A young man staying at the Turgutreis Male Student Dormitory in the Menteşe district of Muğla reportedly went into depression and said he would jump out of the dormitory window.
HE LET HIMSELF FALL INTO THE VOID
Upon the notification of nearby citizens and dormitory officials, security, fire department, UMKE, and 112 Emergency Health teams were quickly dispatched to the area. Upon arrival, the teams began efforts to persuade the young man while also preparing for the possibility of a fall. The fire department teams quickly deployed an inflatable air cushion in the dormitory's garden as a safety measure. Despite all the efforts of the teams, the young man, who could not be persuaded, let himself fall into the void.
HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
The young man who fell onto the air cushion was seriously injured upon contact with the concrete ground. The health teams on standby at the scene transferred the injured young man to Muğla Training and Research Hospital after the initial intervention. I.C. could not be saved despite all the interventions made at the hospital.
