The incident occurred in the Gürpınar neighborhood of Çorum. According to the information obtained, the sacrificial animal that Durmuş Kalınbacak wanted to slaughter suddenly broke free from his hands and began to run away.
Kalınbacak, who wanted to protect himself from the sacrificial animal running aggressively in the garden, took shelter in the basement of the house. Since the sacrificial animal did not leave the basement door, Kalınbacak remained trapped inside for a while.
TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED
Upon notification from his relatives, health, fire brigade, and municipal police teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams provided first aid to Kalınbacak, who was known to have a panic attack disorder and had taken a turn for the worse.
The sacrificial animal, which displayed aggressive behavior, was brought under control after a tranquilizer intervention by veterinary teams. Kalınbacak was taken to Sungurlu State Hospital for check-up purposes. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
