Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP General Chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, announced for the first time when the congress called by Özgür Özel would be held. Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The congress in the CHP will be held after the appeal process at the Court of Cassation is concluded and the injunction is lifted." When asked about not having a certificate of election, Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "We will comply with the court's decision. If it were up to me, I would go to the congress tomorrow morning. I don't know because I'm not a legal expert, but we will ask the legal experts."

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP General Chairmanship, which he lost in the congress election, through a nullity ruling, appeared before the press during an Eid greeting program in Ankara.

Stating that they would await the decision from the Court of Cassation regarding the congress to be held in CHP, Kılıçdaroğlu said: "We will hold a congress; can a party exist without a congress? It must be done on a legal basis. The congress will be held after the injunction is lifted. This is undoubtedly the domain of legal experts. We will meet with legal colleagues and discuss how to hold the congress as soon as possible."

"IF IT WERE UP TO ME, I WOULD GO TO THE CONGRESS TOMORROW MORNING"

When asked about not having a certificate of election from the Supreme Electoral Council, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "It's not about the certificate; you cannot disregard a court ruling. We will comply with the court's decision. If it were up to me, I would go to the congress tomorrow morning. Since I am not a legal expert, I don't know, but we will ask the lawyers."

WILL HE BE A CANDIDATE?

Asked, "If a congress is held, will you be a candidate?" Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "Let the congress happen first; God is generous."

HE RESPONDED TO ÖZEL'S CALL

In response to CHP leader Özgür Özel's call for "2 million CHP members to elect our Chairman," Kılıçdaroğlu said, "It is clear how the Chairman will be elected; you cannot bypass the congress."

WILL AN EXPULSION PROCESS BE INITIATED?

Answering the question, "Will an expulsion process be initiated?" Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "There are many rumors, friends; don't believe them. Party management is conducted within the law and with seriousness. You cannot do things based on rumors. There are conditions for expulsion; you can't just say 'I don't like this person, let me expel them.' That's not how it works."

"WE COMPLIED WITH THE NULLITY DECISION"

Regarding the 'nullity' decision, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "I am not a party to the case; I don't know what the case is or what the process is. We complied with the decision. There are many rumors; everyone is saying something."

POLICE INTERVENTION AT THE HEADQUARTERS

When asked about his call for police intervention at the CHP Headquarters, Kılıçdaroğlu argued, "Everyone must obey the law. I will explain at the public meeting. No stones were thrown from outside into the CHP Headquarters. Saying 'I will close the doors' is not acceptable. A party's doors cannot be closed to the people or to members of parliament. This has never happened in our history."

"WHAT BUSINESS DID ADNAN BEKER'S BUS HAVE THERE?"

Kılıçdaroğlu continued: "The reasons need to be explained; the CHP Headquarters is open 24 hours a day. CHP members of parliament do not come here by appointment. This is a party; anyone can come at any time. They can even come to protest. We believe in democracy. This is already in the nature of politics. That place is nobody's father's property; it belongs to the people. If the MPs had entered, what would have happened? Would there have been a fight?

What business did Adnan Beker's bus have there? There is a thought process, you know. What were those people doing there? Most of them are not party members. Was it to throw stones or cause incidents? To harm the CHP? How can they be trusted, how can they be let into the party? What business does a person with moral issues have at the CHP Headquarters! What business does someone who says 'I didn't vote in the presidential election' have there? It is unacceptable!"
