In the Altınordu district of Ordu, a citizen who was considering reporting to the gendarmerie, believing that their hazelnuts in the field had been stolen, realized after watching the security camera that the hazelnuts had been eaten by a wild boar.
Murat Çelebi, who lives in the Kökenli neighborhood of the Altınordu district, noticed that the hazelnuts he spread out in the barn had decreased during the hazelnut harvest he started about 10 days ago.
THE TRUTH CAME OUT WHEN HE WATCHED THE SECURITY CAMERAS
Since his house is located by the roadside, Çelebi suspected theft and considered reporting the situation to the gendarmerie. However, when he examined the security camera footage of his house, he saw that the hazelnuts were eaten by a wild boar at night.
"I THOUGHT THEY WERE STOLEN"
Çelebi, who stated that he was missing about 2 sacks of hazelnuts, said, "When I looked in the mornings, I saw that the hazelnuts were constantly decreasing for a few days. Since it is close to the roadside, I thought my hazelnuts were stolen. When I watched the camera footage in detail, I realized that a wild boar entered the barn at night," he said.
"I AM SAD, WE WORKED HARD IN THE HEAT"
After realizing the situation, Çelebi expressed that he took precautions with his own means, saying, "On one hand, I am sad; we worked hard in the heat. I also thought about reporting to the gendarmerie, but we are sure that they were eaten by a wild boar. We will get through this year like this, and we will take more precautions next year," he said.
