In the Izmit district of Kocaeli, a man was injured when a wall collapsed after being hit by a reversing pickup truck while he was sitting at home. The injured man was taken to the hospital by the medical teams that arrived at the scene.
An man sitting at his home in the Izmit district of Kocaeli was injured after being struck by falling debris from a wall that was hit by a reversing pickup truck.
The accident occurred around 9:00 PM yesterday in the 28 June neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the pickup truck driver, M.K., crashed the vehicle into the wall of his neighbor Ahmet Kılıç's house while reversing.
TRAPPED UNDER THE WALL HIT BY THE PICKUP TRUCK
Due to the force of the impact, a part of the wall collapsed. The bricks that fell from the collapsed wall fell on Ahmet Kılıç, who was sitting to the left of his house at that time.
While Kılıç was injured, the family members, who were greatly frightened, notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, took the injured Kılıç to the hospital after the first intervention.
