The bite mark on Enes Güran's arm will be compared with the dental measurement taken from Yüksel Güran.

NUMEROUS ARRESTS IN THE NARIN MURDER CASE

A thorough investigation is being conducted regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır's Bağlar district. The main suspect of the incident, uncle Salim Güran, as well as Narin's mother Yüksel, her brother Enes, her uncle Fuat Güran, and 8 other people including her cousins and aunt were arrested.

MOTHER'S DENTAL MEASUREMENT WILL BE TAKEN

Yüksel Güran, who was arrested for "intentional murder and complicity," was taken to the Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Education and Research Hospital's Oral and Dental Health Hospital despite it being the weekend. Doctors will take a dental measurement from Yüksel Güran. It was learned that the measurement will be compared with the bite mark on Enes Güran's arm.

"I BIT MY ARM DURING A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN"

Enes Güran, who was previously taken into custody and taken to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute due to the bite mark on his arm and deep scratches on his back, was released because no determination could be made regarding the bite marks. Enes Güran stated that he had nervous breakdowns when he heard the news of his sister's disappearance and that he harmed himself and bit his own arm. He said, "When my sister went missing, soldiers came to the village. I had nervous breakdowns. Then I started biting my arm. After that, search and rescue activities started. While the searches were ongoing, we went to the cornfield. The corn husks touched my back, and also the scratches on my back were caused by the friction in the barn and abandoned buildings where we searched," he said.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, when Narin Güran, 8 years old, went to the Quran course in Bağlar district's Tavşantepe neighborhood, her family searched for her when she did not return home, and when the search yielded no results, Narin's father Arif Güran reported her missing on the same day around 20:00. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village.

While the search efforts were ongoing, E.G. (18), Narin Güran's brother, was taken into custody due to the bite marks on his arm. E.G. was released after the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute failed to determine whether the bite marks belonged to Narin.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples from Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional murder" and "deprivation of liberty."

As the teams focused on the previously searched areas again, they conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was thrown into the stream with a sack after being killed, and her body was covered with stones.
