In BURSA, it was revealed that Ahmet Yıldız (30), who shot and seriously injured his wife Tuğçe Yıldız (21) with a gun in the chest and abdomen during their divorce proceedings, did so in front of their 5-year-old daughter N.Y. Meanwhile, N.Y. ran to inform her aunt Eda Akdeniz (26), who lives in the same neighborhood, after the incident. Eda stated, "I went to their house with my 2-year-old son. I said, 'Let go of my brother.' Ahmet took my son between his knees and pointed the gun at his head, saying, 'Look, I will kill him.'"
The brother of Tuğçe Yıldız, who was shot in the chest and abdomen by her husband Ahmet Yıldız during their divorce process, recounted the events that took place.
It was revealed that Ahmet Yıldız, who shot and seriously injured Tuğçe Yıldız in front of their 5-year-old daughter N.Y., committed the act in front of her. Meanwhile, N.Y. ran to inform her aunt Eda Akdeniz (26), who lives in the same neighborhood, saying, "I went to their house with my 2-year-old son. I said, 'Let go of my sister.' Ahmet took my son between his knees and pointed the gun at his head, saying, 'Look, I will kill him,'” she stated.
The incident occurred on January 11 at around 1:30 PM in the upper floor apartment of a two-story building in the Hacivat neighborhood of the Yıldırım district. A dispute broke out between Ahmet Yıldız and Tuğçe Yıldız, who were said to be in the process of divorce. During the argument, Ahmet Yıldız fired at his wife with the gun he had. Tuğçe Yıldız collapsed to the ground after being hit by bullets in her chest and abdomen, while the suspect fled.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address following a report. After the first intervention, Tuğçe Yıldız was taken to Bursa High Specialization Training and Research Hospital. The treatment of the mother of one child, who is in serious condition and underwent surgery, is ongoing.
A SOCIAL MEDIA POST EMERGED
It was reported that Ahmet Yıldız, who went to the police station and surrendered after the incident, claimed in his statement that he shot his wife because she had cheated on him many times. It was also noted that before the incident, he made a post on his social media account saying, "I apologize to anyone I have upset knowingly or unknowingly. I apologize to everyone. The snake has coiled, it has come out for its last round." Ahmet Yıldız was arrested by the court he was brought to at the courthouse.
'I SAW HER DREAM'
It also emerged that the incident took place in front of the couple's 5-year-old daughter N.Y. After the incident, N.Y. ran to her aunt Eda Akdeniz's house, who lives in the same neighborhood, to inform her. Eda Akdeniz recounted those moments to a DHA reporter. Stating that they were preparing for her son's birthday with her sister the day before the incident, Akdeniz said, "We finished the preparations. I came home around midnight. While I was sleeping at night, I had a dream. Tuğçe's house was very messy. I woke up around 7:00 AM. I went to Tuğçe's house, she was sleeping on the couch. I woke her up and asked if there was any problem. She said there was no problem. I said, 'Tell the truth, I saw it in my dream. I had a very bad dream.' She again said there was no problem, only that her husband wanted money, and when she didn't give it, they argued, and that was why my niece pushed her father, saying, 'We don't want you, you treat my mother badly, you always beat her.' I took my sister and brought her to our house," she said.
'HE THREATENED TO KILL MY SON'
Akdeniz, stating that her sister returned to her own house after a while, said that her niece N.Y. panicked and came to her door, recounting:
"My niece N.Y. came to the door and said, 'Aunt, run, my mom is covered in blood.' At that moment, my 2-year-old son was in my arms, and I went with him to Tuğçe's house in the back street. When I entered the house, Ahmet had shot my sister in the abdomen and chest, and he had the gun pointed at his head. I said, 'Let go of my sister,' and I hit his hand. At that moment, the gun went off and hit my sister's wrist. Upon this, Ahmet took my son between his knees and pointed the gun at my son's head, saying, 'Look, I will kill him.' I said, 'If you are going to kill him, kill him, just leave my sister alone.' Then my aunt came and started to scream. At that moment, he had already fled."
'HE WAS ALSO BEATING MY 5-YEAR-OLD NIECE'
Eda Akdeniz claimed that Ahmet Yıldız's statement at the police did not reflect the truth, saying:
"The suspect's statements are lies. If my sister didn't love him, she wouldn't have given him a second chance. If there was such a thing, we stayed in Giresun for 7-8 months, if there were cheating incidents, she would have divorced him. Why didn't she divorce him? Such a thing is absolutely out of the question. They have a 5-year-old daughter. On the day of the incident, she told me, 'After you left, he asked for money. When my mom didn't give it, they fought. He shot my mom. When my mom started bleeding, I got scared and ran to the room.' This is a very bad cruelty. Just think, how can you leave a mother covered in blood in front of your 5-year-old child? My sister is still in intensive care. She is being fed through an IV. There was no problem between them. It was just that my sister's husband was very jealous. My sister was accommodating to his temperament, but that day the only problem was money. The previous arguments were also about Ahmet's oppressive behavior. He didn't even want to come near me. He didn't want her to go out of the house. He only allowed her to work. He wanted her to work and bring the money to him. He was also beating and pushing my 5-year-old niece a lot. My niece already says, 'I hate my dad, I don't love my dad.'
'MY SON CAN'T SPEAK, MY NIECE IS NOT EATING'
Akdeniz stated that her son and niece's psychology has been disturbed due to the incident, saying, "My niece's psychology is in ruins. She tells everyone at the door. She recounts the incident. 'I was sitting with my mom, then my dad left my mom covered in blood. I got scared and ran to the cupboard,' she says. She witnessed the moment of the incident. When she saw her mother like that, she ran away and hid in the cupboard. She hasn't eaten anything for a week. I hope he receives the heaviest punishment. We trust in justice. Even my niece says, 'May God not let him out of there, he ruined my mom and me.' Being a woman is very hard. Femicide has increased enough. I hope he gets the punishment he deserves. He shot my sister and pointed a gun at my 2-year-old son's head. My son hasn't spoken since the incident. My niece and son are not eating anything. We just want him to receive the punishment he deserves. He shouldn't get out of there, he should stay there for life," she said.
