Furkan Alan, who lost his life after stepping on a broken high-voltage line while trying to help the driver of a car that crashed into an electricity pole in Bursa, was reportedly married last week and had returned from his honeymoon yesterday.
In the Mudanya district of Bursa, Furkan Alan (27), who wanted to help the driver of a car that crashed into an electricity pole, stepped on a broken high-voltage line, was electrocuted, and died. Alan, who got married last week and returned from his honeymoon, left his family in mourning.
The accident occurred last night in the Düzbağlar area of the Çepni neighborhood in Mudanya district. Onur Uslu (29) lost control of his car and crashed into an electricity pole. The pole fell over, and the high-voltage line that supplies power to the neighborhood and the area broke and fell onto the road. At that moment, Furkan Alan, who was passing through the area in his own car, wanted to help Onur Uslu, the accident victim. Alan parked his car and, while heading toward the injured person, called 112 Emergency Call Center on his mobile phone to provide information. At that moment, Alan stepped on the electric cable and was electrocuted.
DIED AT THE SCENE
Upon the report, numerous gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Under the supervision of health officials, it was determined that Furkan Alan had died. Alan's body was taken to the morgue of Mudanya State Hospital for autopsy procedures after the gendarmerie teams and the prosecutor's office completed their scene investigations. Onur Uslu, the injured car driver, was taken to Mudanya State Hospital for treatment after initial intervention.

While the investigation into the incident continues, it was reported that the deceased Furkan Alan got married last week, returned to Bursa yesterday after going on a honeymoon with his wife, and set out to pick up his older brother Alperen Alan, who is his business partner in a powder paint shop.

Furkan Alan was buried in the Hasköy City Cemetery after the funeral prayer held at the Hacı İbrahim Bostancı Mosque in the Osmangazi district in the afternoon.
