Due to heavy rainfall in the Lice district of Diyarbakır, the village of Budak was flooded. Citizens who went to visit the cemetery were stranded due to the closed roads.

Heavy downpours in the Lice district of Diyarbakır have brought life to a standstill. Citizens visiting the cemetery in Budak village, which is connected to the district, became stranded due to the roads and bridge being submerged.

According to reports, visitors who struggled to reach the village in the morning were unable to return as the intensity of the rain increased.

VEHICLE PASSAGE IN THE AREA HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED

As a result of the floodwaters submerging the bridge connecting the village to the main road and the roads along the route, all transportation links between Budak village and the city center have been cut off. Citizens stranded in the village stated that transportation has become impossible and that the ongoing rainfall poses a risk. It has been reported that vehicle passage has completely stopped with the rising water levels in the area.

Authorities have warned citizens about potential adverse situations that may arise.
