In the case of Gülistan Doku, who disappeared in Tunceli in 2020 and has not been heard from since, messages sent by her boyfriend Zeinal Abakarov have emerged. In the messages, Abakarov's statements drew attention: "Honestly, I'm not afraid of anything there. I'm afraid they're holding you somewhere against your will. Gülistan, don't be afraid. If there's something like this, send a message. I'll come even if they kill me. I'll try to get you out. Even the state can't do anything."
An operation was conducted in 7 provinces on suspicion of murder in the investigation of Gülistan Doku, a 2nd-year student in the Child Development Department of Munzur University, who has been missing since January 5, 2020, in Tunceli. Following the operations, 13 suspects were detained. It was learned that among the 13 people for whom detention decisions were made are Mustafa Türkay Sonel, the son of Tuncay Sonel, who was the Governor of Tunceli at the time and currently serves as an inspector at the Ministry of Interior, and Zeinal Abakarov, Doku's boyfriend.
Messages sent by her boyfriend to Gülistan Doku have also emerged. It was seen that Abakarov sent messages that would raise suspicion.

SIM CARD TAKEN FROM THE FAMILY, ACCESS TO GÜLİSTAN'S ACCOUNTS
On the other hand, JASAT findings and National Criminal Bureau reports included in the investigation file revealed new details. In the investigation, attention focused on Gülistan Doku's SIM card. The SIM card, which Doku's family had reissued, was taken from the family by the governorship. However, the SIM card was not delivered to the investigation authorities. It was determined that access was made to Doku's accounts and interventions were carried out.
DATA DELETED FROM INSTAGRAM AND WHATSAPP
According to JASAT and National Criminal Bureau reports, Gülistan's Instagram account was accessed days after she disappeared. During this access, which was definitively determined to have occurred on the night of January 17, some data in the account was deleted, and logout occurred towards morning.
Furthermore, the IP address of this access exactly matched the internet usage records of a specific individual. This situation eliminated the possibility of "coincidence" in the file.
The expert report also stated that on the same night, the SIM card was inserted and access was made to WhatsApp, and it was assessed that data there was also deleted.
