Koçdemir, who was feeling unwell, told his friends that he would work a little longer. He refused the offer to be taken to the hospital, and his colleagues, who last spoke to him on the phone around 4:00 AM, found his body motionless when they arrived at work in the morning. Following this, police teams were dispatched to the address, and Koçdemir's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for the determination of the exact cause of death after the work of the prosecutor's office and the Crime Scene Investigation teams. Gül Koçdemir, Abdil Koçdemir's wife, who came to the workplace upon hearing the news, wanted to see her husband. The police teams tried to calm the young woman, whom they took to a nearby establishment.
