Work has begun on the regulation for the lowest pension. The current pension amount is at the level of 14,469 TL. According to the June inflation rate, it could increase to 16,901 TL with a 16.81% raise. Additionally, based on scenarios of a 20%, 25%, or 30% increase, the pension could rise to 17,363 TL, 18,086 TL, and 18,810 TL, respectively. The final figure will be determined with the announcement of the June inflation rate.
New regulations have begun regarding the lowest pension, which directly affects millions of retirees. AK Party Group Deputy Chair Leyla Şahin Usta announced that a regulation is being worked on that will benefit approximately 4 million retirees. Currently, the lowest pension has increased to 14,469 TL with the 15.75% raise made at the beginning of the year. JUNE INFLATION...
According to the latest announced inflation data, the cumulative increase over the past 5 months is at 15.09%. If the inflation rate for June is around 1.5%, it is expected that the raise rate will reach 16.81% and the lowest pension will be 16,901 TL.
3 POSSIBILITIES ARE BEING CONSIDERED
In addition, scenarios for increases that can be made independently of inflation are also being discussed.
According to these scenarios;
- If a 20% raise is made, the pension will be 17,363 TL,
- In the case of a 25% raise, the pension will rise to 18,086 TL,
- If a 30% raise is applied, the lowest pension will reach 18,810 TL.
With the announcement of the June inflation figures, the raise rate and the final pension amount will also be clarified.
WHEN WILL THE PENSION INCREASE BE ANNOUNCED?
The raise rates for retirees receiving pensions under SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund will be clarified after the inflation data to be announced on Thursday, July 3, at 10:00 AM.
