WALKING ON A ROPE LASTED 47 MINUTESRoose started his walk on the Asian continent at 18:00 and reached the European side in about 47 minutes. No one had previously walked from Asia to Europe from such a high point. With this achievement, Roose became the first athlete to go down in history. "I MADE HISTORY, SO I AM VERY HAPPY"Speaking after the event, Estonian Athlete Jaan Roose, with the contributions of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the General Directorate of Highways, said, "The Bosphorus has not only connected two continents, but also has thousands of years of historical and cultural significance, as well as incredible natural beauty. When you combine this with variable weather conditions and strong sea currents, it becomes a unique location for slacklining. I made history, so I am very happy."
