Russian Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov stated that Israel is trying to draw the US and NATO into war, warning, "Israel is overestimating its power; this aggression will end its existence as a state."
The administration of Benjamin Netanyahu, which pursues a strategy of perpetual war in the Middle East, has recently escalated tensions with steps directly targeting Spain, the UK, and Turkey. While Tel Aviv, which could not make NATO a party to a US-Iran war, continues its efforts to provoke alliance member countries, harsh warnings came from Russian Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov, a senior figure in the Russian army, to Israel.

Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov, speaking to the Russian TASS news agency, argued that the situation in the region will worsen. Emphasizing that the escalation of the conflict is Israel's main goal, Alaudinov said: "We need to understand that the war in the Middle East will only escalate. I think this is exactly Israel's goal: to enlarge the conflict as much as possible and drag both the US and the entire NATO bloc into it. But in the end, Israel will overestimate its power and will become unable to maintain its existence as a state."
PROVOCATION AGAINST 3 COUNTRIES IN THE LAST 20 DAYS
Israel's moves targeting NATO members and allies have peaked in the last three weeks:
- Spain: It was targeted through migrant provocations in the North African territory of Ceuta, leading to a Schengen crisis between Madrid and the EU.
- UK: The Labour Party government, which supports Palestine, was directly targeted with statements calling it a "transformation into the Islamic Republic of Britain."
- Türkiye: While anti-Turkish visuals were used in election campaigns, the attack on the Abu Zuhur Air Base in Syria was attempted to be justified through Ankara. However, these baseless claims were denied by the US.

Israel's military moves near the Turkish border have also caused great concern in Israeli domestic politics and the press.
