In the Buca district of Izmir, the fun of citizens visiting an amusement park turned into a nightmare. Due to successive malfunctions in the rides, dozens of people were left hanging upside down for minutes at great heights.
LEFT HANGING UPSIDE DOWN
The incident occurred at an amusement park located near the Buca Pond. Citizens who took advantage of the holiday break to have fun with their families and loved ones flocked to the park, only to experience a major shock when the rides they boarded malfunctioned. As an adrenaline-filled ride was completing a full rotation, a sudden technical failure caused the people on the machine to be left hanging upside down at a height of several meters.
TERRIFYING MOMENTS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
While the citizens forced to wait upside down for minutes at such a height experienced great panic and fear, the malfunctions at the facility did not stop there. A similar technical issue occurred with the roller coaster, one of the park's most popular rides, leaving the people inside stranded on the tracks for a while.
The holiday fun turned into a nightmare, and the helpless wait of the citizens at such a height made the hearts of other visitors race, while those terrifying moments were captured second by second on camera. After workers intervened to restart the machines, the citizens who had been stranded for minutes were rescued.
Meanwhile, three years ago at the same amusement park, a malfunction on a swing resulted in six people being injured by tree branches as they were struck.
