Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that this month a total of 7.8 billion lira in Home Care Assistance payments has begun to be deposited into the accounts of beneficiaries. Currently, 492,000 people benefit from the assistance for fully dependent disabled individuals cared for at home and their families; the monthly payment per beneficiary is 15,755 lira.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have started depositing a total of 7.8 billion lira in Home Care Assistance this month into the accounts of beneficiaries in order to provide economic support to fully dependent citizens cared for in their homes and their families.
IMPLEMENTED SINCE 2006
Minister Göktaş emphasized that Home Care Assistance is an important family-oriented care service that has been implemented since 2006 with the aim of supporting disabled individuals primarily in a family environment, and said, "We prioritize disabled citizens receiving home care services while preserving their family integrity. With this assistance, we support the protection and strengthening of family unity by enabling disabled individuals to live together with their families or relatives without leaving the environment they live in."
15,755 LIRA MONTHLY PER BENEFICIARY
Recalling that within the scope of Home Care Assistance, a monthly payment of 15,755 lira is made per beneficiary, Minister Göktaş noted:
"For fully dependent citizens cared for in their homes and their families, we have started depositing this month's Home Care Assistance payment totaling 7.8 billion lira into accounts. Currently, 492 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance. I wish the payments to be auspicious for all our disabled citizens and their families."
