Fugitive convict S.O.K., who had a finalized prison sentence of 13 years, 8 months, and 21 days in Aydın, surrendered after a clash during a drone-supported operation involving special operations police. Following a search of his home, where a pump-action shotgun, a pistol, and numerous cartridges were seized, S.O.K. was sent to prison after the procedures.
In Aydın, the fugitive convict S.O.K., who had a finalized prison sentence of 13 years, 8 months, and 21 days, surrendered after a clash during a drone-supported operation involving Special Operations police. Following police procedures, S.O.K. was sent to prison.
Teams from the Aydın Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Directorate identified that the fugitive convict S.O.K., who had a finalized prison sentence of 13 years, 8 months, and 21 days for the crime of 'armed threats' and had 24 separate criminal records, was in the Umurlu neighborhood of Efeler district.
RESPONDED TO THE 'SURRENDER' CALL WITH GUNFIRE
A drone-supported operation was organized with the participation of Special Operations Branch Directorate teams to capture S.O.K. Responding to the police's 'surrender' call with gunfire, S.O.K. surrendered after the clash. During a search of S.O.K.'s home, 1 pump-action shotgun, 1 pistol, 29 loaded and 4 empty shotgun shells were seized.
After completing police procedures, S.O.K. was handed over to prison.
