VISITED ICONIC SITES OF ISTANBUL
Magyar, who was in Istanbul before the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8, first visited Sultanahmet Square. Then, the Hungarian leader moved to Yedikule Fortress, sharing photos he took at historical sites on his social media account, featuring scenes from his visit to Türkiye.
After the NATO Summit, the Hungarian Prime Minister will spend a 4-day vacation in Antalya with his children.
FOCUS ON NATO SUMMIT IN ANKARA
At the 2026 NATO Summit hosted by Türkiye, leaders of 32 NATO member countries and senior alliance officials will convene in Ankara. The main agenda of the summit includes Europe's security, increasing defense expenditures, defense industry cooperation, support for Ukraine, and developments in the Middle East. This summit marks the second NATO Leaders Summit hosted by Türkiye, following the 2004 Istanbul Summit.
