After 24-year-old university student Büşra Cin was found dead at home in the Nazilli district of Aydın, her boyfriend, who has been arrested, is facing a request for aggravated life imprisonment. The defendant, who claimed, "I found Büşra dead at home," was contradicted by DNA samples found on the weapon.
In Aydın's Nazilli district, a lawsuit has been filed against the male friend of 24-year-old university student Büşra Cin, who was found dead at home, with a request for aggravated life imprisonment.
INDICTMENT PREPARED
An indictment was prepared by the Nazilli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the case of Büşra Cin, a final-year student of International Relations at Adnan Menderes University, who was found dead with gunshot wounds at her boyfriend Ö.K.'s (29) house in Karaçay neighborhood on March 30. In the indictment accepted by the Nazilli Heavy Penal Court, aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the detained defendant Ö.K. for the crime of intentional murder against a woman.
SWAB EXAMPLE REVEALED THE TRUTH
Reports obtained from the İzmir Regional Criminal Police Laboratory and the Forensic Medicine Institution İzmir Group Presidency's Biology Specialization Department were included in the indictment. The report from the İzmir Regional Criminal Police Laboratory stated that gunshot residue was detected on the swab samples belonging to the defendant, and it was concluded that the shot was fired from a close range.
THE WEAPON CONTAINS THE KILLER'S DNA
The report from the Forensic Medicine Institution İzmir Group Presidency's Biology Specialization Department stated that DNA analysis conducted on the biological sample taken from the surface of the weapon seized at the crime scene revealed DNA samples belonging to both the victim and the defendant.
LAST MESSAGE REVEALED
The indictment also included messages exchanged between the defendant and the deceased university student on the day of the incident, indicating that the defendant sent a message on the night of the incident saying, "Everything is over Büşra, it is finished now, everything has vanished."
The indictment noted the circumstances surrounding Büşra Cin's death, stating:
"If the victim had committed suicide while lying in bed, her hands should have fallen beside her body or on top of her torso, whereas the victim was found with both arms bent inward, with her hands touching her shoulders, and her fingers bent inward at the joints. The absence of any suicide note belonging to the victim at the crime scene, the presence of the defendant's gun in the house, the victim's refusal to accept the defendant's desire to break up, and the fact that the last person to see the victim alive was the defendant, when evaluated as a whole, leads to sufficient suspicion that the defendant committed the crime of intentional murder as charged."
DEFENSE FROM THE DEFENDANT: "I DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HURT BÜŞRA"
The indictment also included the statement of the defendant Ö.K. Ö.K. stated, "Even though we had decided to break up and had argued via messages because of this decision, I did not do anything to hurt Büşra. I do not accept the charge of intentional murder against me."
HE SAID HE FOUND HER DEAD AT HOME
On March 30 in Aydın's Nazilli district, Ö.K. reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center that when he arrived at his house in Karaçay neighborhood, he found his guest Büşra Cin shot dead in bed, and the medical teams confirmed that Cin had died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Ö.K. was taken into custody and subsequently arrested.
