TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu stated that he believes the National Team will finish top of their group as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), who is following the preparations of the Turkish National Football Team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, stated that he believes the national team will finish the group as leaders. Speaking to the press during the Turkish National Football Team's training session at Athletic Grounds in Arizona, Hacıosmanoğlu said that the first match in Group D against Australia is important.

Emphasizing that their goals are clear, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We need to take it step by step. Our first match is against Australia. We want to leave there with a victory. We know how advantageous it is to finish the group as leaders. God willing, we will finish the group as leaders and continue our path."

Speaking about the temperature, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "It's hot but there's no humidity. The sun has set, and the air is nice. You can't achieve results without sweating. The kids are working hard. It's exactly the right training weather right now."

Congratulating boxer Elif Nur Turhan, who visited the training session of the Turkish National Football Team, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We need a boxer, we need to land a blow. It's a first in the history of our Republic. She will face an American opponent here."
