A significant development occurred in the investigation regarding the death of 39-year-old İbrahim Kayaaslan, who lost his life on August 2, 2025, at Dımbazlar Pond, where he went with his wife. Following the incident, the investigation was deepened based on allegations that it was a murder, not an accident, resulting in the arrest of one person.

As part of the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office, an operation was carried out in the Sarıgöl district of Manisa on January 13, 2026. During the operation, Samime Kayaslan, her mother Samime Kayaslan, her father Mehmet Yoldaş, her stepmother Münire Yoldaş, and İzzet Sözer were taken into custody. Among the suspects sent to the courthouse in Buldan, İbrahim Kayaaslan's wife, Samime Kayaslan, was arrested and sent to prison. The other suspects, Samime Kayaslan's mother, father Mehmet Yoldaş, stepmother Münire Yoldaş, and İzzet Sözer, were released.
