Under the coordination of the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out against 30 suspects who were assessed to have mediated the financing of illegal betting within the scope of artificial intelligence-supported efforts conducted by the Department of Combating Cyber Crimes. It was determined that the operation involved a monetary volume of approximately 323 million liras; while 27 suspects were taken into custody, it was reported that efforts continue to apprehend the remaining 3 suspects.
An operation was carried out within the scope of the investigation into illegal betting and gambling sites in Bursa.
OPERATION AGAINST 30 SUSPECTS WITH A MONETARY VOLUME OF 323 MILLION LIRAS
As a result of artificial intelligence-supported examinations by the teams of the Department of Combating Cyber Crimes, coordinated by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 30 suspects, who were assessed to be operating in the Bursa city center and had a monetary volume of approximately 323 million liras, were identified.
In the operation against the suspects, 27 suspects were caught and taken into custody. It was reported that numerous materials obtained from the suspects were also seized.
EFFORTS CONTINUE TO CATCH 3 SUSPECTS
It was stated that the teams of the Cyber Crimes Branch Directorate continue their efforts to catch the 3 suspects who are at large in the operation.
