It has been claimed that Ekrem İmamoğlu, the dismissed mayor of Istanbul, secretly met with individuals mentioned in a corruption investigation at a hotel in Etiler. Footage has emerged showing the moment when the security personnel at the hotel covered the security cameras with tape.

It was claimed that Ekrem İmamoğlu, the President of the Turkish Union of Municipalities and the Mayor of Istanbul, who was arrested and removed from office, and the individuals mentioned in the investigation held a secret meeting at a hotel in Etiler.

According to the information obtained; Ekrem İmamoğlu and Tuncay Yılmaz, Ertan Yıldız, Adem Soytekin, Fatih Keleş, and Hüseyin Köksal, who are referred to as "organization leaders" and "money boxes" in the corruption investigation, held a meeting on October 12, 2024, at the hotel owned by Adnan Çebi, who won the metro construction tender from İBB in Etiler.

THEY COVERED THE CAMERAS WITH BLACK TAPE

In the footage obtained before the meeting, it was seen that the area where the meeting would take place was prepared in advance and security measures were taken by İmamoğlu's bodyguards. İmamoğlu's bodyguards arrived at the hotel 50 minutes before the meeting and covered the cameras in the corridor on the first floor with black tape at 09:14 to conceal the meeting.

İMAMOĞLU CAUGHT ON LOBBY CAMERAS

Despite the precautions taken by his bodyguards by taping the security cameras on the first floor, İmamoğlu was caught on the lobby cameras at 10:04 after forgetting them. İmamoğlu, who entered the hotel without a jacket and wearing a blue shirt, was seen heading to the area where the meeting would take place with a tablet in his hand.
